If you are a complete beginner there is no level test. By complete beginner we mean someone who has no knowledge of Spanish. If you have even basic knowledge of Spanish (knowing how to say "my name is...", "I am from...", "I like..." etc) then you will have a level test. The aim of this level test is to ensure that you are placed in the most appropriate group for your level of Spanish. All schools follow the CEF (Common European Framework).
